Hi. I inherited a Phoebus Nr 1, I'm trying to get it up and running. It needs new gasket so I can get pressure on.. anyone know where to get new ones, or how you make them yourself..? Svend
As @Driftwood says, you can make your own- it's easy and especially worthwhile if there may be other stoves to service in the future. You will very likely need to replace to tank lid seal- which can be cut with scissors from a sheet of Viton- and the NRV seal or 'pip' (NRV=non-return valve/pump valve). This is easiest to make using a punch which is rotated- either the pen refill in the thread, or a 4.5mm punch with a round body which can be chucked in a drill. The NRV assembly should have a lead washer to seal it into the end of the pump tube. This may be reusable or may need a replacement punched from lead or HDPE (thick plastic containers are a good source). If you remove the burner two new heat resistant washers will be needed, these are tricker to make at home as suitable material is brittle.
Welcome to CCS @Svend If you only have 1 stove I would recommend the seal kit from The Fettlebox. A tool to remove the NRV can be purchased online but it is basically a steel rod with a 5mm x 5mm slot in the end. Lots of info here on NRVs and home made tools.
