Hi folks - I am in the midst of cleaning/rebuilding a 123R, and after removing the jet, cleaning needle and stuffing box I cannot get the spindle to back out - it stops at about the same place it does when everything is assembled. (I've done this countless times on a 123, with no problem.) I'm reluctant to force/unscrew/pull the spindle further, so as not to do avoidable damage. I thought there was a post or two here about spindle removal on a 123R, but cannot find it. Help! Thanks in advance.
Hi John, Check ut this thread: https://classiccampstoves.com/posts/5269 Looks like some penetrating oil or carburettor cleaner might be needed. Best Regards, Kerophile.
