Can any one give me any info on this stove it’s not for sale but I would like a rough idea of the value it’s a primus no 4 good condition Thanks
Hi @buster2year Welcome to CCS. You have an interesting stove there, and I am glad that you like it. There are several in the Reference Gallery: Primus No:4 You stove has lost its original legs at some stage of its life and the replacement pan-holders do not extend downwards to support the tank. Does it rock on its curved base at present? Your stove is worth whatever a potential buyer offers on the day. Best Regards, Kerophile.
I saved it from a tip and love it not selling just wondering I know absouloutly nothing about them on the base it as p6 on and it rocks a little
Hi, the P6 code indicated 1926 as the year of manufacture of your stove: Primus Dating Chart 1911 - 1964 Same year as this one: Primus No.4 - 1926 Best Regards, Kerophile.
Thank you I only found this site after finding the no 4 primus I think is kicked off a new hobby I am hooked on antique stoves now
