BernieDawg Minicap in 3-D!

I took delivery of BD Minicap No.81 today and faced the dilemma faced by other stovies who see a jewel-like masterpiece in brass or steel in their hand, fresh out of the package from Oregon, and don't want to 'spoil' its newness by using it.

It wasn't too much of a dilemma in my case because this cap's built to be used and that's my view of every stove I have.

However, I felt that in homage to Gary's workmanship I'd take some pictures of the cap and post them on CCS.

i have had my cap made into a bellybutton piercing.
I wear it most days. but not on church days.

 

my eyes! my eyes! i tried using the cross-eye 3D technique and now they're stuck!

Now look what you have done!! Even our grandchildren's photos are now viewed in 3D. Once started hard to stop sorting thru shots and pairing them. Actually quite good fun. Thanks.

30 seconds crosseyed & my head hurts

 

I'm revelling in this 3D stuff. I was blind in one eye from the age of 21 for the next 18 years until I had remedial surgery. Remember those "magic eye" pictures (I think that's what they were called) that were all the rage in the 1980s? Totally passed me by! Took me a couple of years to suss out that it was never going to work for me with only one working eye

Strange but last night when trying to view the photos in 3D all I was getting was headaches but then this morning they popped right in.

I learned to do this from using stereo pairs of high altitude photos for laying out timber sale unit boundaries and forgetting to remember to take my pair of stereo glasses out with me.
