hi all i have been asked to fettle a M-1942-MOD C-A-
so does any one have a diagram on how it is striped?as i wish to clean or replace the vaporizer tube
and obviously do not want to do it any damage
as it will not boil a pint of water in 20 min after changing the nrv pip and the pump lid gasket.
i would also like to source a replacement tank decal
    cheers

There is a member here who goes by the name of Cañon Joe (canyon) and he can also be found on E bay, he may offer the decals your are looking for as well as for the M-1950 stoves too. :-k

well im afraid that the m1942 can't be used as when you pressurize it with anything above  6 pumps it spews fuel from the bottom of the tank and it goes into bomb mode thankfully it snowed last night so i just dumped a bucket of snow on it to put it out and left it for 15 mins

Does it have a split or pinhole in the tank or is the pump not sealing properly?

Split or pinhole means the tank is shot. I believe the tank seams are welded and not soldered. I had one that had been abused and had a crease on the seam and leaked. Not a good thing to have happen with volatile fuel in the tank.
