    Hello,

I am in the process of restoring this abandoned Moha 1. Being confident that this will be an hard restoration, the first thing I noticed if compared to the other examples available is the absence of the DGRM text embossed on the tank. Bottom plate is plain too.

How should be dated compared to the ones with DGRM? Later or earlier?

I am thinking about to replace the pump tube with a traditional one.

The problem with this one is that to extract the pump tube I had to desolder the NRV valve with the flame going through filler cap. A support that probably was solders to the internal went away too… I don’t know how to put everything back in place, especially that support…

    Any suggestion is welcome.

    Nicola

To note, this Moha 1 has removable supports if compared to all the other examples in the gallery.

Unfortunately one support is completely missing, so I need to get from the stoves cemetery 3 supports that can be adapted.

@gieorgijewski yes I agree in fact I already fixed the original thing, I just used a part from a spare valve to replace the broken one. I also succeed to solder the support… after I tinned the plate and put the pump in place I applied heat from outside the tank untill the solder melt. I have been lucky:

Almost there, I need to make one of the missing supports. For the supports holders I used some coming from an old discus. I had a spare burner that should be a good choice for a Moha 1. Pump works perfectly :)

    Hi
This time, you performed internal surgery. General Hospital Director!
    That is amazing.
Fortunately, Moha's unusual check valve has been maintained.

    @multi-cho ahaha thanks :)

This Moha needed internal, external and aesthetic surgery!

I had this spare tank in my “trash box”, so I wasn’t expecting much from it…

The original valve inspection cap was lost and valve itself and all those bits were soldered all together.

To fix the valve I had to desolder everything and so, in a first moment, I got scared by all those little bits, so I was thinking about replacing pump tube.

But once everything was cleaned and after a better inspection I found a way to put everything back together.

I wasn’t expecting such result from my poor skills.

Tomorrow I will make a glorious post with nice photos and flame shot.

@multi-cho fantastic, thanks! So the burner is very similar to the Moha 0 burner.

You’re very lucky to have found such a rare and splendid stove!

    I am attaching one more.
This is an image I saved in the past. I don't know if those ufo caps are genuine as I don't have an exact catalog.

@multi-cho yes this example is in the gallery here, I think it is a Radius burner.

Moha 0 should have regular size burner threads, so probably Moha 0 and 1 used the same burner… what changed was only the destination of the stove: house and traveler.

On this Moha 0 I can recognize in fact a Primus 1 roarer:

@kerophile is exactly as you say, but it is not mine, it is from a listing. I don’t know if that is a post modification or if it originally came as it is.

I correct myself, Moha 0 received and burner size is of a model 0 not 1. So the distinctive Moha 0 and 1 original burners are very similar, but the size is different, at least the riser threads.
