When some family gave me this small hard working stove, it had definately seen better days. The box was too rusty to be saved in original color and the burner had its fair share of soot and dirt. I thought about making it as close to the original version and at the same time hi-polish anything which could be polished. (Former Platoon Seargent in the Queens Guard ) And then.... naah .. I won’t let this small work horse become a “shelf Queen” - so I decided to do an all-round service, clean it, remove existing paint, and then paint it matte black. I actually like the outcome. Thats really a nice restoration! True to the stoves origin but not masqurading as a NIB (or almost). More pictures before and during a project lends to a nice saga! One of my inspirations.

The during pics don’t show, because I originally painted it with a solid layer of Hammerlite to make a robust surface. And then the following day conclude that I instead wanted it in matte black.
