Also something different. The pot stands are shorter than expected. Not the height but the length of the hook that sits under the pot. Will not hold a Coleman SS camp perculator coffee maker.

    a few comments.
there may be more to this discussion (in fettling forum ) from myself or others.
    I dbl chkd comparisons yours vs Travelling-Optimus No:1 - 1914/18?
the 2 do seem to match
Remus yours does NOT have a dimple spirit cup correct?
BOTH even have earliest bottom stamping w/same anomaly:
the top of the B is cut off /missing. that's peculiar

year range 1914 /18? still works for me.
    clarifying minor details:
re my: "marblecreek's Operational Old Optimus No. 1 has an earlier burner (call his 1911-c.1914?)."

i add: BTW there are not 1 but 2 earlier Optimus Roarers .

re my "Y'all can dbl chk the details but yours & his might exact match marblecreek's except the burner (incl. tin)?."

i add: his has earlier burner and earlier filler cap. otherwise same "i think", incl. tin.
    ------

thought i had more.. all for now
