Radius no.1 s:o (silentburner - need a lot of fettling) Primus no.1 S:or (My kitchen tool in the garden, during weekends). Radius no.1 S:or (“Brand new”, newer used, in original box, pictures attached) Best regards George Norway
Hello and welcome George What an excellent post to start your membership - brand new and absolutely beautiful
Thanks Bill, I am not able to find out when this brand new Radius is made, it`s between 1913 and 1963 The special with this one (if it is special) is that the “Radius flaming star” is not engraved on the top of the brass fuel tank. The engraved text are as follows: “Radius Ltd”, “No.1 S:or” and “Made in Sweden”, but no flaming star. Maybe this can be in help to find the year it was manufactured? I have an Radius No.1 s:o with a silent burner, and this have the “flaming star” engraved on top of the fuel tank. Rgds George
Hi, Radius became Radius Ltd. and started marking their stoves as such from 1938/ early 1940s onwards. This stove is clearly marked Radius Ltd and so was made after 1938. Best Regards, Kerophile.
