No luck with my "Wanted" Ad for an Optimus No45 Riser-tube and burner. Not too worried about finding a roarer burner, but the Riser-tube is a bit more critical  .

So, Maybe I can get one made :?: I would be grateful if someone could provide me with the dimensions of the Optimus 45 Riser-tube please [-o< [-o< . The length, inner bore and outside diameters, internal thread length, hex nut size and if possible a photo. The threads will not be a problem as I have the tank male thread to work from, and also a Primus burner that is interchangeable, so thread can be taken from that. Many thanks - Steve.

    The length 30mm
    inner bore 5mm
    outside diameters 16.50mm/19mm
internal thread length at the burner end - 14mm in a 17mm deep hole.
    hex nut size 19mm

    hope that helps.

Thanks for the data Tetley, I think I will go for a new production. Thanks also Rick; I did not see that E-Bay post, but do not think that I would want to go down that route anyway, he claims that it is correct for too many variants of stove to be believable. I'll let you know how the repro project goes. Thanks - Steve.

That would be ideal   . Thanks. I'll send you a PT if I need it. If he is going to make one, I'll try and get a couple more made while he's at it   . Steve
