Hello Together, This Morning 10:30 the Postman rings me up and give me a Parcel from France. Give the Guy in France the Link from Wim "Lampen per Post" and and the Parcel looks good. Wow Unscrewing the Pump A second Leather-Sealing behind working Part. Not so much Parts A little Bit Viton and Grease for the Leather and putting all together. Where I can get an Brass-Burner-Ring? The Grill has two Sides, one for Cooking and a plane Side for the Oven. Fire it up! and with a Ironring. Maybe changing the Nozle? 12:30 Time to cook some Spaghetti, but it smells like Plastic in the Kitchen. So there must be an Ironsheet under the Stove. Works fine. and another Pic 15:30 Testing the Lilor-Oven, great Fun. Making some Kirschstrudel (Cherry-Strudel). Cam from down under. Kitchen full of Smoke, the Oven must burn free from "smoking Fish in it". Smoke is Out and 200° Celsius is a good Heat for Baking. Looking Inside Another 15 Minutes and we have a Result. Kaffee und Kuchen - a nice Stovie-Day. Cheers Peter
Beautiful enameled stove. Those French sure make some pretty stoves. Fits your oven perfectly. Thanks for sharing! Ben
Great stove, I like the cast iron, solid looking stove and it works out of the box, well done. Cheers Rob
The Green and the Brass looks very good for me, but after an new Starting there was an Power loss. So I take a Look to the Nozzle and there was many Coal in it and the same in the Roarer. The Gear is the same as the Prabranth and so I mount the Indish One for the Time to clean the Ultimus burner. Preheating with the Fork. and a Perfect Flame. Cheers Peter
The Roarer drives me crazy, after some Hours of good burning it smells and fumes and the Thread is not the same as from the Ultimus. So I tried an old Silent Burner from an 3-Leg that fits better. 4-5 Pump Strikes and it works perfect, 1 or 2 more and it burn Yellow... Time to cook some "smoked Kassler Neck - Kassler Nacken geraeuchert" with Cale, Onions, garlic and Chillies. Never ending Action in my Kiitchen. Cheers Peter
That has to be one of the most beautiful stoves I have ever seen.. The green enamel is a thing of beauty. Very nice indeed.
Hello Kerry, You like my Pot, really? No that is not good for cooking Meals, better for cooking Noodles and Patatoes. I ask me several Times why the french Cast-Iron-Stoves are so massive and I think its because the use of heavy Cast-Iron-Pots in french Households. So I looked a little Bit around and found Emailled-Cast-Iron-Pots from "Le Creuset" that fit perfectly on our Stoves and cooking with it makes great Fun and the Taste of the Meals is Wonderful. The new Pot of this Company are very expensive, but you can also find the older Ones in bad or good Condition. I think I must open another Tread next Time... Cheers Peter
