Handiware Picnic Stove.

    Found this nice stove in a junk shop, for £5.

    I have seen them before, but not as complete as this one.

    I gave it a good clean and added fuel.

    Warming up a treat.


    It made a nice brew as well.

    Nice Find @The_Yellow_Ardvark had one my self a few years back, they are a good reliable budget spirit stove, nice to see the lid is in reasonable condition with the majority of the graphics showing

    Ardvark: The lid on yours is better than that on my identical Handiware stove. The lid is made of very thin metal. Best not to bang the lid on too hard.
    The graphic is different. My variant claims: 'Burns like a Gas Ring' With a pan or kettle on the stove the flames bloom outwards through the vertical holes. Especially useful with a pan of bacon to fry.
    The burner seems to resemble an early Trangia design

    I have a similar alcohol stove but that one is called Ideal express alcohol stove.

    I have a few off the small Meths. stoves.
    Very handy as well
