    I can't give up without making the case for a British brassie. This is my Veritas Picnic stove, shown in more detail here.

    I was thinking of entering my RM but it's identical to Twoberths Veritas except for sticker.

    The worst that could happen is that you wouldn't win. And we could see your stove....

    I don't worry about winning. My photography skills suck.The 2 times I entered pics I voted for someone else. It's just sometimes I like to participate.

    Weirdest thing I have seen... But very interesting! Question is why would they do that? What advantage does this design have over the standard design?

    More stable, perhaps. There are actually quite a few examples out there of these classic brassies with a 'remote' burner.

    It's the missing link between Radius 21 and Optimus 111:-k:idea::lol:

    And the flip-over tank to burner gimmick is just because it's a Barthel.

    @Simes,

    Great seeing you yesterday, even if it was a short visit! Don't feel like the last one to post here, as I'm bringing up the rear, and will, hopefully, join in after our walk about our local lake. Better late, than never, eh?! Nice Optimus 00, by the way!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
